I so much agree with you.
Ugetsu and Yuki sacrificed a lot. Like a LOT.
Their decisions weights too much it was hard to carry.
I seriously don't understand people who can't appreciate ugetsu and yuki.

People can't even understand that ugetsu really loves aki. He was only waiting for aki to end it BECAUSE UGETSU CAN'T LET GO OF AKI.
I seriously think that yuki didn't intentionally killed himself with a thought of making mafuyu guilty.
It was a great misunderstanding but I don't believe it was a suicide.
To prove his love is kinda overboard to say but if that's what yuki thought of mafuyu forgiving him, then what can he do??
It's a decision which greatly effects a lot of lives. But yuki was still thinking of the future. Yuki still made a plan to send his mother a box of ramen everyday. Yuki still planned of conveying his feelings to mafuyu through music, which was left unfinished.
The development of the story was great. People are being bias and can't properly see that this two great characters is what keeps the story going.
