STRAIGHT THIS STRAIGHT THAT! I don't what these authors obsession with turning someone gay or being gay for only (*insert uke name). This guy is talking about "accept me for being straight" BUT UR NOT RLLY STRAIGHT if you're attracting to him and his dick ! Just say bi but with a preference for girls or heres a thought, dont mention it at all bc labels are overrated anyways. I hate how he would say he can't change that he's straight when he inevitably did "change" it lmao like that's the whole point of ur story bro

I know right ?? Like peoples sexual orientation can change as they learn things about themselves ,, like he was straight but now he loves a man so can change his sexual orientation to be bisexual or whatever fits best for them

Naw you don't get it. It's a very real fear being with a straight guy and the author was trying to portray that. Since Ichi was the only guy that uncle was attracted to, he's straight to him; especially with his past experiences.

Being a bisexual guy myself, I have gotten these kind of reactions from gay partners in the past. Annnnnd I really hate the trope "I am gay only for you" ugh

No no I get what ur saying but I'm more looking from the semes pov & how he wanted the uke to accept him for being straight when there's really no prejudice in being straight. He was making his "straight" sexuality out to be the main reason uke didn't accept him (which I understand). But he wasn't helping the situation as he still thought of himself as "straight" even though he should accept that he is NOT straight anymore. Instead of reassuring the uke that 'look maybe I'm not straight..' which may have helped the situation he shamed the uke for not accepting something he can't "change" which is false bc he did change lmao. I feel like from ukes point of view I can see the problem with loving a straight person but from the semes pov he tried too hard with the "straight oppression" (mind you isn't even a thing).

Yes, he should have been more open to what his sexuality now might be given the fact he WAS attracted to a man, he himself should have questioned that label

Exactly but I do understand the whole straight problem. The uke dealing with straight love interests in the past was a very valid problem throughout this story. I feel like the author could have explored the semes problem in a more internalised homophobia way that caused the seme to become confused and beat up over his new feelings for a man when his whole life he thought he was straight. But it wasn't really explored, he kind of just accepted he liked the uke but didn't accept he wasn't straight.

Agreed, but can't deny it is amusing sometimes, when a character is so insistent in denying but we know he's gayer than a rainbow
