Can someone explain the last panel, I totally didn’t get what the king meant

I think its means that the King can grant Nina’s wish to let Seraphie outside but he doesnt want them both together outside (?). Like she can still see her in her rooms if she wanted, but if Seraphie goes out, he doesnt want Nina to be with her


I think he’s anxious that Nina would do what Seraphie would ask because Nina is indebted of her. He most likely thought they’d escape and he would have no choice but to kill Nina (just like the original story)


Or,


It could also be because of what the doctor had told him when Nina collapsed from stress. Her own divine powers is clashing against Seraphie and the King is probably scared it will hurt both of the girls.


Its all speculation on my part so dont take it seriously
