the reason why in the last life he lived in the shadow was because his mother's will said to live quietly and hide his abilities to stay safe.... so he stayed in the shadows... but in this life she wasnt in pain so she had a clear mind to let him live however he wanted......
in the last life the mother was in pain and probably scared so he urge him to live quietly and safely but in this lifetime she didnt have to deal with the pain that distorted her decisions
