Be it something 'triggering' or not, they can write what they will. They can do what they want to their characters because they are not writing for you orr anyone specifically. Unlike what you think, the world doesn't revolve around your obtuse axis, get a clue.

BUT this user makes a very good point. R*pe is too normalized/romanticized in BL when it shouldn't be. Even BL writers on Wattpad or ArchiveOfOurOwn normalize/romanticize r*pe. It's an insult to the LGBTQA+ in many ways. There is nothing romantic about r*pe... at all. Authors shouldn't spread this misconception because it is very harmful #－.－). We all want to enjoy BL, it's just hard to enjoy it when plots normalizing/romanticizing r*pe is so common.
