BL is BOYS LOVE. Not for people to fetishize and read for SEX don’t tell someone to not read a story that has uncomfortable scenes that involve lack of consent if they’re reading for plot. They simply asked for the author to stop putting r@pe scenes because it can trigger or make some people uncomfortable

Not eerything is gonna be geared to a persona taste because 'oooh it triggers me!'. Wake up. No one will baby stuff down just because someone find something triggering.
Thats like getting mad at action movies where people get shot because 'im triggered by guns' its as simple as not watching said movie. Same goes for this and any tropes. If it comes up and you dont vibe with it, move the freak on and stop acting like the world now has to cater to your watered down safety net. Dont like? Dont read. Easy peezy lemon fuccin squeezy.

Why are you defending this so hard they're right. And who the hell are you to tell someone not to read or watch something because it triggers them? Comparing guns and getting shot to basically rape is like comparing apples to oranges those are two totally different things. People shouldn't have to just except things because not everyone has a problem with it.

If you dont like something, if it casues triggering, then just dont put yourself in that situation, its really that easy lol. Dont like some type of content? No problem. Drop it and move along, its so easy. Easier than wiping your ass after a fat shet. Literally no one is forcing you to sit there and be angry at the world because of a situation you put yourself into. Stop being 5.

If you see something wrong with an aithor just doin as they do with their own characters in theor own world and story, you got a problem bro.
The joy of writing comes from the fact that it is essentially up to you how your world works, even the most garbage isekai all have a certain charm to them because you can tell the creator had fun doing what they do best, creating. Be it something 'triggering' or not, they can write what they will. They can do what they want to their characters because they are not writing for you orr anyone specifically. Unlike what you think, the world doesn't revolve around your obtuse axis, get a clue.
People like you are the type to get angry that their neighbors are playing music you find 'triggering' at an event being held in their yard. You're the type to bang on the door, tell them to turn it off because it triggers you, then probably call authorities to complain that ypu are being mentally hurt because of your non considerate neighbors.
That u bro.

Should you continue to read a story that triggers you? Absolutely not.
BUT this user makes a very good point. R*pe is too normalized/romanticized in BL when it shouldn't be. Even BL writers on Wattpad or ArchiveOfOurOwn normalize/romanticize r*pe. It's an insult to the LGBTQA+ in many ways. There is nothing romantic about r*pe... at all. Authors shouldn't spread this misconception because it is very harmful #-.-). We all want to enjoy BL, it's just hard to enjoy it when plots normalizing/romanticizing r*pe is so common.
Also, 5-year-olds don't read yaoi.
Can "Drunk Sex" just fucking dissapear from BL genre forever? This is fucking creepy and i hate how BL authors love to include it as some fuckin "starting point in relationships". This is not lewd, its disgusting. I seriously want to like black-haired guy since he's gonna be endgame, but i can't bring myself to feel for him.
