The flashback is the past before wish happen, then the present is the after the wish happen. Remember when Henry jump after receiving a message frim his phone that his wish is finally granted, all of the characters receive their memories of themselves before the wish happen. So Chance was reminiscing the memory of himself before the wish happen

I'm lost... this chapter is in the new present after the wish or is before??... because it's assumed that by changing the past Chance never had a relationship with Lucy and never tried to commit suicide... this is confusing
