i don’t really think so, if he kills himself the link also dies but i think if he kills the link he won’t die cause the seme was the one who’s like the owner or master of the link. i’m still not sure tho

If he could kill the link without him dying, I think he would have done so the moment he did something to Sooin. Either that or he's purposely not killing him so he would suffer. But I'm leaning towards the former more because it would make more sense
when he saw the long haired dude he did not hesitate to kill him but the link was not real so yeah, but let’s just see.
