I think it's because in boxing you always end up with health problems and have to resign sooner than most careers. If you lose a lot, you're out of the spotlight and that's the end for you in the sport as well

When did boxing become so dramatic? I can't with "they destroy lifes" that's so dark. Happy to see my cinnamon rolls being sweet together again though
