I don’t think it is to cure poison. For one she’s basically immune, but the butterflies where eating away at her and her blood. I think his power is life and he’s “breathing” life into her. The seal was probably there to keep him from playing god. My guess is he did something or tried to,do something forbidden when his mother died

She is not immune to poison.... Her internal organs are severely damaged because of her taking. Way too much poison

I thought he noted they were poison, but didn’t actually purify, but I’d have to go back and check

Perhaps I misspoke. I’d didn’t mean she was 100% immune, but that she’s taken some very leather posion and survived. Maybe saying she has a very high tolerance is more accurate. But unless you know something I don’t (which is entirely possible) she’d already hatched the butterfly’s so she didn’t need to take the poison anymore. It seemed like she was fine after the hatching, but they did say the butterfly’s do survive by feeding off their owner and using to many or losing control can cause them to consume there host, which that is what it looks like happened and that’s why they keep flying to land on her blood. Then again it could be a combination of all of it, but at the very least I don’t think it is just poison

At this point she's not immune to poison, she just lets the poison eat her inside.

Also its impossible what you say about it not just poison, because it is. She never stopped taking higher dosage of poison because she needed to raise as many butterflies as possible and they need to be fed well.
