As of now they are just small kids. And as long as they are not blood related, I think we ought to let the story unfold and see how the author handles that.
If you feel uncomfortable do as other readers do (including myself) - leave and find something else to read. :)

yeah but it's worse if they're little kids now.. they'd have spent YEARS as brother and sister.. it would've been better if they met years later or something.. and yes, I've already left it

y'all gonna hate to hear this but the guy genuinely thought she was his sister and that's what makes it weird.. like yeah they're not blood related but it's the idea that he was treating her like a sister and they grew up as siblings.. like ew
