I think Kouichi is pronounced as Ko-wi-chi
oh I've been saying it like koy-chi
That's hiw i read it before too. But I thought ir was Ko-wi-chi because there is a u. But sometimes I still read it as koi-chi if there's a lonf dialogue.
Or it can be koi-ee-chi

I keep pronouncing kouichi as coochie...
