I do think the fl is focusing to much on the story plot but this is the first time she made Cinderella the center of attention over the others. I mean I don’t remember one time she focused on her more than the others. She’s doing her best for all of them.

I know but when she mentions how Cinderella was more attractive than her own daughters and stuff like Her daughters resembling more of their father thank her it kinda annoys me like i get she’s trying her best for all of them but its pretty clear how she see’s Cinderella and she expects Cinderella to be in the spot light all the time

Well it’s important to know the good points and the bad points. Cinderella is more beautiful. Sure but she knows her girls are better at things. Like horse back riding and playing games. Cinderella has literally nothing but her face. And her trying personality. She’s hoping that Cinderella will find the prince to put them in a better situation. She’s trying to follow the flow of the story without them ending up on the bad side.

Yes the eldest looked upset because she wants to be introduced first. And she saw her mom sleeping with her. But she’s in that’s my mom mode not yours. The mom however is seeing them all equally. I think the writer did a great portrayal of emotions at different ages and where there at. As a child those would be the emotions she would feel. Like that’s not my sister focus on me give me love. But the mom is moming everyone. If Cinderella does good it’ll help us in the long run because she has to get married to the prince like the story goes. She doesn’t realize the prince likes her eldest. She doesn’t realize the story isn’t the story. It’s life

Seconded this. There is no such thing as a perfect mother. She can't read all emotions and thoughts of her childrens and everyone around her, she can't see their hurt or doubtful face sometimes which we readers can see. She also still trying to let the plot not stray too much so Ashley can get her happy ending she knows, not an unknown one.
