I finished it. It's okay. But I have to trick my brain to isolate the plot from the characters during sex scenes. Cross animal sex. Like. Mom, my brain. Weirdest would be the snake and the rabbit.
You're right with everything. But I still finished it. It just caters to people with fury kink. Smex scenes are well drawn tho. But there's something about the concept of cross-species smex that doesn't sit quite right with me. Although the theme of protecting endangered animals and showing the animals' pov as human emotions is great and I think will do well for an awareness novel/movie. BUT NOT ABOUT SEX.
Whoa, I refrained myself from commenting on my own when I finished it because I thought I would be one of those alienated people that didn't like this concept, but you just take the words out of my mind.
I didn't read the second story though, it felt weirder than the first one.
And yeah, the fact that the author constantly reminded us that they were aninals and they weren't even of the same species was... Too weird for me.
And you're right, the sex scenes were good, it showcased the authors best anatomy drawings hahaha.
