Go through 4 years of college, earn your degree and tell me that you don’t want to earn a job on your own merits that you’ve already worked so hard for. It’s frustrating. Not having a sense of purpose and just being told that someone will give you “pocket money” is fucking depressing and makes you feel like a burden. He’s upset and being told that after being rejected on your last hope hurts because it probably feels like Mirai doesn’t believe he can do it on his own. Yeah he’s trying to help, but it still hurts being rejected I’m the first place and having that on top of it sucks.
That's true, and I'm talking from experience too :( It really is disheartening when you work hard toward a goal but still can't make it.. Although, at the same time I wouldn't mind having a sugar daddy like him lmao

I honestly would not mind but I think it depends on the kind of person you are too. I think there is some pride and it seems like from early on mc wants an equal feeling partnership/ relationship.
