
I mean Korea is a very homogenous country, and not a lot of people are dark. I mean my dad's dark, but like, he goes outside literally every single day for hours and hours. He's the only one in his family who isn't "white," in their skin tone. It's really nice to see more darker characters though, even if just tan. She's so pretty too, our FL looks so radiant.

The FL for this is likeable and I'm curious to see how the story goes but rather than it being racist, it sets a tone. More like someone once mentioned how more cartoons with dark skin characters were turned into animals than not, like with the emperors new groove, brother bear and the princess and the frog.
So, honestly seeing a rare darker skin character portrayed as a violent, hairy beast with that kind of realization and mindset is just unsettling.
It’s weird I’ve noticed how the FL almost always has the same or lighter skin tone then the ML (which is a trope I think should die) but I’m so glad this story doesn’t do that
