i mean if it leads up to that point where hed choose humanity over his old family, im sure there’d still be a good reason why. the story is not even close to ending so idk why youre even worrying about it now lmao.
The better ending would be the MC achieved both.. Save ppl and revive the fam. Or add a plot twist in the family matter, maybe?? I salute the author if he/she could be so creative w/ ending later.
And yes, if the MC could only choose one, I wish for him to be selfish.

I think I read too much manhwa that started off as "revenge"; "had a better life"; "won't fall in love"; etc, and still ended w/ the "okay I forgive you" or worse-- marry the one who kill her/him... ╥﹏╥

Hm I think u don't completely understand my point. The reason he'd choose humanity is plainly because it's humanity and that's a fucking greater good. No other reasons, nothing, and that's my point.
If there will be another reason why; like plot twist and such, of course it'll be really great and I applaud the author. It means he/she really did have imagination that far far far greaterrr.. I post this in case the sole reason will only be "humanity is the best! cheers!"..(￣∇￣")
