I can kinda relate to Im Nari in different ways.
I’m deaf. I get bullied by three upperclassmen in elementary school. Mocked me with sign language. Shouted at me to test me if I can hear or not. They went too far by chased me around and pushed me. I got nosebleed and bruises.
But since that day, there were some students made fun of me about my expressions or sign language. Can be mean to me too. Fooled me thinking that I am their friend.
Grew up with no friends that are loyal and respectful and caring. I had a deaf best friend since 3rd grade. I was happy but sadly she’s toxic person. Bad influence on me but I always depend on her all times because I don’t want to be lonely. Until I transferred to new school in 7th grade. My life changed a lot but my loneliness? Kinda not. Sure, I finally got new friends but it feels like they have no motivation to learning sign language so we can communicate easily. Haha.. I’m a senior now. Still lonely :,)
