In the novel it said that he felt “regretful.” In the novel it also stated that he though Cayena was disgusted with him, which is why she avoided his touch. (Ofc that’s not it. Cayena thinks he’s a nice man.) Cause y’know, no one knew that he didn’t like to be touched.
