Very true. I did have a glimmer of hope that he could be changed (trying to be optimistic) but then found spoilers and realized my pessimistic self is always right about these sorts of things. Also I agree with one of your others comments. If I was her I would think she would be smart enough not to get closer to someone whose betrayed her before. Especially after he poisoned her right when she got back in time.
