Think they're referencing the first couple chapters, the fl got put into the world of the novel but she didn't read the very last page of the book and just shrugged it off like "what big of a difference can the last page make" kinda thing. But I'm sure in relation to this story that last page probly will change the whole story or else they wouldn't bother specifically pointing that out
