I honestly feel that this is going great, I don't understand why people don't like what's happening tbh.
Not particularly that I hate her or anything, but personally this whole thing is only person who is really being wronged is the prince if you think about it. His mother and sister committed suicide bc they were treated horribly bc of the first queens family, and then the emperor didn’t care for him either, and he couldn’t even follow his dreams. On top of that, no one apologized to him at all and they are further trying to hurt them to serve their own interests. Literally the blonde hair dude said "sorry" and killed himself, while his half brother is trying to kill him to protect his mother(which Linden might not have killed if they didn’t start a coup). And this girl just wants everything to be over with a simple sorry, and not even any other plans to make them pay retribution bc she’s friends with them as well. So for him, he has to let the people who literally ruined his life go, while they were also ready to kill him. Like its naive and selfish in my opinion.
I'm sorry but you must benyoung if you think that way. Mil and Lady Yulian never did anything wrong, there's nothing vad about Elise wanting to protect them. Revenge doesn't make you happy. It didn't make Linden happy amd that's the reason Elise is trying to stop him.
She isn't saying that a sorry is enough but that for his own sake he should forgive them. Akso, Mil wants to do the coup bc Linden would else kill him someday
But I also believe saying that about people who are literally planning a coup on you isn’t the brightest idea either. I don’t think he should kill the whole family or anything for revenge, but I’m pretty sure planning a coup on the imperial family is treason. And at least the heads would have to die. I personally just think Elise wants everyone to just be happy, when realistically that can’t happen (but this is a comic so it probably will)
