They changed the biggest thing happening in the novel compared to the manga, they skipped out how Ruri being human was made known to everyone and curious Jade wanted to know her human form so bad he waited when she was asleep.
I also think this was a bit of a dick move on jade lol but yeah it got glossed over so easily. Maybe they skipped it out because that kind of thing is really low of the ML lmao. But also this manga might be based off of the light novel instead of the web novel, I’ve only read the web novel.
