I also thought of that for a second but this case is different because just imagine when you're a person who don't easily trust other people specially when they are barely even once you know, but they keep bothering you and acting like you knew each other for a very long time and sticking like a leach without any respect and regard of your own privacy,
I would be very annoyed but then suddenly that person started to change the way they approach you and keep distance but in a means of respecting and being considerate of your position. Of course you will wonder what changed this person?? but on the other hand you will appreciate and like that persons actions.
So it's like if someone treats you kindly you also treat them the same way.
