It’s because mangad3x (or bat0-t0) are sites that don’t profit from the authors’ works (contrary to mangago)
Scan teams don’t earn anything from translating, and rightfully so, bcz their work is ill3gal and the authors don’t earn money too. Following this logic it’s unethical that hosting sites earn money thanks to the work of the author and the teams. Even more, since hosting sites are not involved in the work and they earns millions!
I hope this is clear. Personally I think this is understandable
On a side note, mangago try to c3s0r the name of official platforms and their links, in part bcz they would lose money if everyone find ways to support the author (by paying or for free) more easily
Why most scanlators urge us to read their works at mangadex only and not at other site? Just asking.
