She is technically the real Ceyenna. She was actually reincarnated twice. (It's clearer in the novel). Her original life was as original Ceyenna where she played out the plot of the novel, so she did go through all the abuse from her husband. When she dies she gets reincarnated as a Korean lady where she read her life as a novel which is why she felt so connected to the character of Ceyenna. Then she dies again and gets reborn back to Ceyenna with the memories of previous two lives.
