You can be a buff guy and be an omega and be called weak simply for the heat period. Oh yeah and the alpha pheromones can make an omega freeze up/collapse. they aren’t “weaker” per day, but society sees them as the bottom group. if anything they should be the highest in the pyramid because they are the ones that produce the children. but no, they aren’t weak, they are actually quite strong. they can produce strong pheromones (if they wanted to or not) also they can make any alpha fall in love with them (if they wanted to or not) and overall very pretty. alphas can produce pheromones that can stop all omegas in the area in one sitting, but so can omegas. i think he stop martial arts because of society constantly lowering his self esteem because “he’s an omega”. that made him believe he was the inferior species, but he is not. they are called weak for their heat cycles, but alphas can get a type of “heat” too, their “rut” but it’s very rare that it happens so no ones critics them.
that’s literally all i know so don’t come at me if i get it wrong, i just know this from a few omegaverses (also yk how it’s called omegaverses? bc omegas should and are the center of attention in OUR universe, but not in theirs)

Oh so if Luocheng maintained his fighting/strength ability he would’ve still been able to fight despite being an omega?? I thought natural strength just slowly disappeared after their second gender as an omega gets revealed bc Ive seen so many omegaverse stories where strong ass mfs suddenly became weak bc theyre omegas
That part depends on the author honestly. But from the way this author is going, I want to say yes if he did maintain his strength, he’d still be strong.
Like the person above me said it depends on the author some people as started in other comments kind to with the oh I’m omega so I’m weak mentality others use this as a fuel to bulk up and be able to defend them selves ( read megumi tsugumi) but even in those cases they are still unfortunately a slave to the alphas pheromones omes
Something I’m confused about in ABO, are all omegas just always weaker than the rest? Like when they become omegas (or show up at omegas) do they immediately become weak? Bc Luo Cheng used to be one of the stronger kids in school (before he’s second gender was presented) but now that he’s an omega he hasn’t tried using that strength he used to have
