Oresama got on my last nerve about the whole color thing. That's why, and was high handed and tried to school me. I don't like that. I don't think anyone does who has had life experience behind what they say.

So you might imagine how it hits me to be called a racist when my whole childhood and even now has been a lot about activism. What I say is the truth for me, and comes from thinking about all this deeply. I don't like prejudice going either way or any way. I don't like what I see happening in the world right now. I don't like how White Supremacist has been transfered onto all white people instead of the neo nazis and ku klux klan where it should have stayed. that's wrong and horrible for the entire human race imo, and an outrage. Those things hold particular rage from me. it hits way too close to home, and fck white privilege. I'd like to know exactly what they're accusing us of. All whites are different, so are all blacks. everyone is different and individual. None of us know what the other has been through inside or out.
From a newspaper from the east usa, I have a picture of my pretty blond sister who is an nyu professor and helped in organizing a protest in her area last summer. She's wearing a face mask and holding an american flag upsidedown. She knelt on the pavement next to her husband in the street for eight minutes during the march for George Floyd. I'm not big on sentimental shit, but that picture hits me in the gut every time I look at it. I'm very proud of her.
No one is going to call us white supremacists or talk down to me about how I feel on terms like Black People and the whole stupid People of Color bs. As I've said, my skin is also colored, even if it's a little lighter than others, and I don't appreciate people like Oresama telling me stuff like how her people use the term to set themselves apart from white people. After all my family went through living in an all black neighborhood because my parents worked for justice and equality all their lives and wouldn't move for anything because they felt empathy for the cause of our black friends and neighbors and the community.
A while back I had an idea and wanted to do a piece for a new publication called People of Color. The owner of this thing told me point blank in front of a lot of people, "you can't." [because you're white] I don't like bias.

imo I think blocking people is wrong. It's an abuse of the tools mangago provided to prevent truly disruptive posts like multiple spams, not to use to get the last word in on someone you disagree with. That's my take on it for what it's worth.

I’m gonna give you a simple thing about white privilege and what they’re trying to say, and no not every white person is a natzi and people who think all white people are that are racist.
So white privilege isn’t just privilege. They’re not saying you didn’t work for everything you had when you did and people who think that who are black don’t get the true meaning. It’s basically how the cops let in all the white people at the capital with out even fighting the smallest bit.
It’s being able to get away with things like a speeding ticket when a black person could be killed by a cop for that. It’s happened, and that’s horrible so people are trying to get that message out.
Media betrays things not always in the right light. Just look at Fox News and they’re bullshit with Trump and look how the Trump supports completely attacked them when they called a state to soon... news stations do not convey the truth nor do they do it well. Its only political pinions they do not the real truth.
That’s mainly white privilege, no one is saying you didn’t work for what you have I promise you that. The true people that is, cause I get working hard for things and being told you didn’t...
Now with the people of color thing it’s just a statement that is less violent then color’d people... referring to people as colored people is what white people who have a horrible opinion on any person who isn’t white and who has white skin.
Also for your book that you wanted to write sense black people and any one who don’t white who’s faced oppression they trust it more when it comes from a black person. Or just ya know those who have been oppressed. I get it I’ve wanted to do that too and maybe they should trust it more and hopefully they will.

I do think there are people who are apart of blm who have that ill intention towards white people being xenophobic. You can Google it if you don’t know what it means I don’t want to explain it if you don’t get it. Blm has a lot of good people in it, I’m apart of the movement to keep things going and actually get what they need. But they can’t always get things to have a big move like getting rid of segregation. The bets they can actually do now is keep the good people in office and keep adding good people because the biggest problem they face is systemic racism. Witch I think you know, it angers me it’s not just racism to tho.

The piece for the publication was just an article in on weekly paper. no big. it was the way it made me think about the situation that was so annoying and a revelation. I don't think the biggest problem is systemic racism. I just disagree is all. I think that people should stop focusing on groups and start working on themselves. It's not that easy to be a good, reasonable, trustworthy, person. We all will have our hands full with just that.
Time is short, and people seriously need to stop with all the organizing, supporting, and protesting.
If people don't turn away from all the division and start to focus being a person who is about service to others as well as self, it's going to be disastrous. I don't think there's any such thing as justice.

The sad thing is the only reason why systemic racism is a big problem tho and it’s the best way to deal with it is because you really just can’t change those who are racists. My grandparents where racists but it took them over 50 years to accept my uncle was gay. The weird fact is my grandfathers Italian and still racists. Yes individual problems need to be focused on and people need to change but there are a good amount who will never. That’s why it’s best to just have control. And once that’s over and we do we can focus on our sleeves and unteach the rites racism in schools and finally be contempt.
People focus on it so they have a chance to feel safe, the police system isn’t fixed yet nor are a million other things in the country that really need to be fixed.
But I really do get focusing on our selves, it can be done at any moment and being selfish to help yourself is a good thing. Just as long as you try to get something done. Racism comes from the people who don’t know you do that’s where it doesn’t reach. As long as someone is civil with what they’re views are most people can be civil back.
The whole first paragraph - all of this has been tried time and again. It doesn't work. It's dangerous. People who think this is the way to do it maybe don't know of the history. I'm saying these ideas are wrong. They tear down society instead of curing ills. and instead of uplifting the wronged ones, it robs all people of their lives and livelihood.
You can't fix it all in one go. Tremendous strides have been made, but change takes time. You can't force it. The consequences would be disastrous as all the other times.
