However, by me putting "my opinion" as a disclaimer, it's my view - whether I consider it or not that way. In this case, I don't because they're not blood related and like I previously said, in Japan, same-sex couples adopt each other as alternative for marriage. I don't quite agree on your analogy. It will work if we are talking about rape /anything criminal. I don't agree because pedophilia is more on a psychiatric disorder, it's on the mind and not an action, therefore pedophilia is not a crime and pedos are not criminals. It's not the same as murder/murderer.
If I am a going to make an analogy like yours, it would be more like "yeah, he likes a guy, but he's not really gay because he only likes one particular guy, he didn't want to like that person/he is not gay, but it just happened". In this case, you can't say the person is gay because he only likes one particular guy, he can be bisexual or something. DISCLAIMER: I'm not saying that being gay is a disorder, I'm saying it's on the mind.
The thing with Haru and Ren is pedophilia, period (like how being attracted to a same-sex is homosexuality), but I don't entirely see Haru as pedophile (ex. gay) since he is only attracted to Ren as a person. He is not attracted to Ren because Ren has physical attributes of a kid. (Like how you cannot say a person is a gay man when he is not attracted to men in the first place and he just fell for one special guy).

If you still insist this is incest because they are brothers by the law (ridiculous tbh), same-sex couples in Japan adopt each other as an alternative for marriage. They can be each others brothers/fathers in the law and still have romantic relationship (obviously lol. I just wanna point out)

Is Haru pedophile? Yes and no. Yes he is pedo because of Ren, Ren is a child. And no because Haru is not really attracted to children. He hasn't shown attraction to other kids - only with Ren.
