Yeah I blame the readers for this they're constantly shitting on the authors just because. Like yaoi if a story is yaoi I count a good story as settling for non rapey non toxic affection. Just a wholesome couple being wholesome is enough for me to keep reading . And even if I don't like a story who tf goes and takes time outta their day just to shit on someone and their dreams? Like?? Maybe just consider moving along?? As someone who is an avid writer this is my worst nightmare..
