i don't think everyone hate them it is just probably the feeling you get when you know something the main characters don't and its taking them to bloody long to realize it. it is quite a frustrating feeling but i don't me.an its right to take out our anger on the characters at least that is what i felt when reading the chapters before their rescue. i am not trying to speak for everyone but maybe there are other like me that felt that way. and i whole heartedly agree with your statement

Yes, I understand the frustration as a reader. That is why I said 'misunderstanding' the kids and not 'hating' the kids.
Either way, being frustrated at a story due to misunderstandings and lack of communication is ridiculous. Good stories are meant to take time so that when everything finally unravels we will feel a sense of achievement. There's no point to the story if the twins just up and loved their father for no good reason.
If you just want to get to the point then this isn't for you
Omg yas!!! Literally speaking facts! It’s so hard to enjoy this when I see people being so hateful and rude. I absolutely love this webtoon and completely understand the twins point of view and how difficult it is to live. I’m really glad to see us true fans rising and fully being able to appreciate the work and effort going on.
I think a lot of people are misunderstanding the twins in this manga and tbh it's just annoying at this point.
First of all, they're 5 year olds and the time they died they were teenagers. Just because they got a second life doesn't mean that they magically will have a mentality of a 20 year old. It doesn't work that way. They were born into kid bodies that function as kid bodies, weak and unable to properly control themselves.
Second of all, they've spent their second life being abused to the point that they had scars to prove. Imagine understanding things but all of a sudden you are in a body that can't do shit and is constantly being abused hopelessly. Like u understand everything which is why being unable to do anything makes it 10 times more scarier.
Third of all, being isolated and practically hated by everyone around you for years no matter what age you are causes trauma and distrust. Idgf about what yall think they should act like. I myself will always assume the worst in any situation regardless if I know everything or not. Because it's easier to not have any hope and to hate than it is to hope and be betrayed. This is especially true for these kids who never had anyone besides each other in their second life which might i remind you is in a foreign world that they've never experienced or had the chance to learn about.
So please, please stfu if you think that these kids should be more mature and talk things out before making assumptions. Because if you think for even a second that it's easy to talk to a stranger (who suddenly acts like your father after years of hearing nothing from him) then you're dead wrong. If you think that they'll be more optimistic and give them a chance after years of abuse then you're wrong. If you think that coming in to a new place and getting nice things is just suddenly gonna fix years of abuse and neglect, then I'm here to tell you to stop reading and go self reflect about how humans work.
On the brighter side, these kids Are mature, they're capable of standing up for themselves and protecting themselves without depending on others for help. That's how real abuse victims act, they don't suddenly go and ask for help.
