Eumiella and the Alicia party went together to fight the demon lord. When they got there Alicia and 2 of her goons betray MC and almost kills her, the prince tries to question why the fuck they did that when they were all on the same side. The only sane person from her party is the prince. Demon Lord killed in a painful and gruesome way. Only MC and the prince survived.
Oh and I'm not sure if this is a separate incident but Alicia stabs Eumiella.

Um okay so (MAJOR SPOILER maybe)
Alicia stabbed our FL with light attribute sword when they were searching for the demon king bc Alicia still thinks that Yumiella is the demon king based on her hair color and strength. Also! At the time Edwin reconciled with Yumiella and became friends! Though, Yumiella still thinks of him as the stupid prince

Eh, she was naive. And Eumiella got a strong heart, plus she was backed by the king and queen(plus the principal) to eliminate or reduce the rumor that she's the demon lord. Honestly regardless of whether she was humiliated by the FL or not, people will still be afraid of her.
But because that one time where Eumiella threw her into a dark dungeon, she became more traumatized and stressed. Even Eumiella herself stated due to how she was sheltered by the capture targets, her mental state is in a weakness state lol. Yeah that event led to FL to be more serious with her level, but it made her more unstable. Honestly she's pretty much a tragic character, especially since she wasn't in such a good environment+the author didn't really flesh her out that well...

ok she's naive then. yea ppl would still be afraid of her but my point was that she didn't make it better. there's bad and there's worse, and alicia made it worse. even if she's traumatized and stressed, isn't most of these characters that way? but she's the only one going around stabbing anyone who seems suspicious. but at this point when eumiella shouldn't even be suspicious, she still sees her as evil. she's so blindsighted by the black aura that she doesn't get to know eumiella and decides she needs to be killed. so who cares if she got stressed out by getting thrown in a dungeon that she probably would've went into herself trying to level up? a traitor is a traitor and a criminal is a criminal.

Eumiella is literally the definition of what indifference is lol. She's hardly affected by the event, before she met Patrick those rumors about her merely made her felt annoyed. Also part of the rumors were actually resulted by her actions(although most of them were an exaggeration) which made people fear her more due to her dense nature(or more like her lack of common sense).
I wasn't condoning FL action, but merely sympathize at her situation. You just don't get crazy and lose your mind all of a sudden. Eumiella is mentally strong, whereas the FL is weak. She's tragic, and a poorly fleshed out character by the author. It's not really enough for me to blame her, even though the betrayal scene made me angry(thankfully Eumiella wore the protection charm) but the lack of regression of her mind(since it was only briefly observed by Eumiella sometimes) doesn't get that much hate from me. Actually the betrayal made me facepalmed more than angry. I just felt the whole situation is stupid lol.
Really, FL is treated more like a mob character than an antagonist at this point.
why do all of you hate alicia so much tho...? She just seems like the usual naive girl in otome games, which is literally her character. It's not like she's attacking the fl
