I also think this webtoon does a better job of characterizing a traumatized child. Estrella is scared of everyone but easily becomes attached to people that give her presents and kindness. It's easy to convince her someone is bad (the whole "uncle doesn't like animals?" think that happened) but also easy to convince her she misunderstood (giving her a bear to carry around). She does dumb things like not telling people about the demon guy who is right there in the castle but it's reasonable from her perspective because he's not really dangerous to her anymore then anyone else is. Every decision she makes it's easy to tell it comes from a place of trauma and naivety.
Meanwhile in the twins siblings ... well it feels more like the author has an idea of where they want the story to go (and that idea is "most drama possible") and then has the characters do whatever it is that drives the story in that direction. Then they use the excuse of "trauma" to explain away why the main characters keep doing the absolute dumbest thing possible in every situation.

This dad is way better than the dad from the twins siblings new life....like omg wtf is wrong with him...like did the other dad even try to get close to them.. did he even apologize...dis webtoon is way better then the twin siblinga new life...the only reason i rlly like the twin siblings new lofe is because i have a thing fro twins...ive had a thing for twins once i watched the anime ouran host club.....i rlly liked those twins
