I got you fam. Okay to start off with Shuli was married off to the siblings father (they never had a sexual relationship. It was like a contract perse) And he died which led her to be the head of the house until Jeremy became an adult. She did a lot of things such as having a lover a month after the father died in order to protect the children. All the rumors of her being cold hearted, a window who will steal your man - all of that was so people wouldn’t touch the children and the family. But the children never knew this (aside from Jeremy but it was too late by then when he figured out she risked everything for them) she and the kids didn’t communicate properly which led her to believe they resented and hated her. Mind you, they were all JUST kids thrown in app the world of an adult so it’s understandable why they lacked communication. Anyways, fast forward to when Jeremy and O’Hara are engaged, Shuli said that she wanted to see his wedding as that would be her final wish before she leaves the family to live in the villa. But then O’Hara comes in and tells her Jeremy doesn’t want her at the wedding (which is false, he did want her there) and since she decided the kids wanted nothing to do with her, she left for the villa earlier than planned. The priests and those in power came to know of this and planned her execution. She’d always been an eyesore to them and they wanted the power balance to shift but Shuli was preventing that (all those nasty rumors were so nobody could touch the family) and so they decided to get rid of her (one of the many reasons they wanted her dead) but now she’s been reincarnated and since she has the mindset of an adult, it’s easier for her to communicate with the kids.

There were multiple reasons TT power imbalance was one and the other main one was that the priest had feelings for her

He fell for her at first sight but since he’s a priest, he’s not supposed to have these feelings so he thinks she’s a demoness who’s seduced him (note she’s a teenager when she first meets him) hence why when she died in the last chapter, he says may they meet again in the next life
