In the webnovel, years down the line, he DOES actually take her to be his real wife & they have kids together (I'm not sure how many years later, but presumably after she's old enough that having kids would be less dangerous & it was mentioned how Shizuko had set up maternity care & prenatal care centers. She becomes a pretty modern wife & is the first to use Shizuko's tech/medical advances for moms/pregnant women & Mitsuo grows to trust her enough to show her a family photo that he kept on hand when he time travelled.
Webnovel says that Mitsuo as a husband is very gentlemanly & caring compared to a typical Sengoku era husband (ie: PDA like holding hands was not very common back then) & this ends up turning her into kind of a yandere.

Ah... it looks like Shizuko never leaves then, or doesn’t leave after a long time. I wonder if they ever show what the future looks like since she’s basically brought the Sengoku era up to modern speed? I’m not sure how I feel about this old man dating a younger girl even if she does grow old enough to safely have children... but it’s better than a gross pervert, and it is just a manga, so I guess I’ll just dislike that aspect and keep reading
I’m glad that even though the old man was forced to marry her, he isn’t going to treat her as a wife. He has his morals intact, thank God.
