Well u gotta keep in mind that different weapons are dangerous in different ways. You can't really compare an amulet that let's u control deadly big ass monsters to a normie sword lol. You'd get away with a lot more and create a lot more damage using one of these artifacts than some arm-sized needle.
It's like comparing a taser to a minigun, in my eyes at least.
But I don't think destroying every artifact is a good option either. I'd rather have them compromise and destinguish between helpful and deadly artifacts.
adding on, it's also a difference of accessibility.
A lot of people have access to swords, thus why the royal family has brigades of knights with swords
But his amulet and the other thing are each one of the few in existence (if not the only ones). It also wasn't known, which was why they only now know that the attack on our mc was a planned attack rather than a random happenstance. Unless they were mass produced and made readily available, they need to be restricted or destroyed.
Since mass producing a monster control amulet would allow for a lot of chaos, they aren't just allowing it. Especially since it is also still being researched.
For an IRL example, we could compare the amulet to something like a nuke or other developed warfare weapon. We don't allow those to be readily available and they are under strict control for their usage, and when they are used it's generally a huge deal.
I Honestly do not disagree with the argument that the female lead is being controlled by her own emotions in ties to the possession in question instead of viewing it from a political and educational standpoint; due to her previous trauma, she has a strong stigma against the amulet furthering her hatred towards it. Currently, the FL's main argument is for them to be destroyed, this could cause a trifle with the magic tower who can be seen as a somewhat powerful figurehead in the story (As I do not believe all 6 masters will cooperate with the final decision). It is also such a large waste of information that could be used for the betterment of their world. I also understand the argument that she offered the alternative of keeping it in possession with the Imperial family. In my opinion, and in her own as well, it wouldn't be the best idea because it could cause an imbalance in power. It also wouldn't solve the main issue of vulnerability. I would maybe suggest a system of co-inhabitants where there is a mutual facility where both the Magic tower and Imperial family can keep watch on it. Therefore they could both have an equal watch over it. This is also easily disputed though because it can breed distrust between the imperial family and the magic tower especially if it were to go missing. These are just my opinions and thoughts based on my knowledge of the story with very brief and unedited ideas. I just wanted to share my take on the statement above.
Hoo, I haven't even considered it from that perspective.
It's true that the Fl acted with her own interests in mind. It is a bit too emotional of her to want to destroy the amulet so suddenly without seeing the possible upside. Especially since she is supposed to be someone from our era, although you could argue that this only makes her more sensitive to the manhandling lethal weaponary to begin with.
And I think Fl brought a simular idea up in the negotiations, the whole sharing between temple and palace thing, that is (she mentioned something along the lines of the mages coming to the palace to research the artifacts there, I believe- well, the mages take more of the L here, but it's sharing none the less). If the 6 masters won't agree on pulverizing the artifacts they might really settle on that sharing option. Even if it's flawed.

shes being selfish, if everyone uses that concept then shouldnt swords and all those other 'harmful' stuff be destroyed too? they can be used to kill a royal family too, so they think only the royal family is allowed to 'manage' harmful stuff huh lol as if those harmfull stuff wasn used by the oh so respectful empress herself in the first place, bye im dropping this theyre getting annoying asf, whoever disagrees with me can hate on it
