It's not like a gay person can't find their s.o. sexy in an "opposite gender" costume but given how most bls used to focus on making the uke a character that a female reader could self-insert as rather than as a gay male, it always rubbed me the wrong way that the costume of choice is alwaaaays a maid costume. Loved this chapter!

Yes exactly! I have no problem in seeing men in maid outfit (damn, I even find it very hot XD) but in BL it's just to make the uke a girl/woman, not for fantasy and I always found it repulsive. So when he gave to him a butler outfit I was like "Noooooo :o" XD
