Noo it's because Rix cherish Nuah sm. He's afraid of losing Nuah and scares him away. He thought there's a possibility Nuah leaving him if Rix tells him how he feels. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

I think it's because of what happened with the divine beast who was punished, Rix doesn't want the same things to happen.
