Dude I think it's becuz Alicia said the exact opposite thing that his master is working hard to achieve. Which is she's happy to be together when she's supposed to be scared and hate them.
This is just what I think anyway..
I think he is just concerned about the whole "being in a relationship but of different social standings" kind of thing, since Alicia is also just a commoner (at least in his eyes)
