Also I realize it’s fiction and people know it’s illegal, but if there’s constantly stories or plots or whatever where people get raped and it’s either sexualized or (in this case, bc it wasn’t sexualized here), they just end up forgiving whoever raped them, could lead to people thinking rape is okay irl bc they think the person would ultimately forgive them.
