EXACTLY!! I’ve been saying this so many time to people who act like they never been on the dark side before. It’s a fanfic as long as you don’t do what you see in books then there no need for you be so prissy over a story.
Sure you can hate and never want to read it again but that’s on you. No need to criticize and judge people that actually like dark fanfics and is sick of the same vanilla loving happy ending stories.
Truthfully I wasn’t a fan of the story but that doesn’t mean imma stop reading twisted, dark, and “forbidden” stories. I read anything no matter how fucked up it is. It’s fine to live a little.

Ffs, it's fiction. It just makes it seem like you've never read any other books in your lifetime. All books are not proper little stories with perfect endings. Expand your horizons. It doesn't make you a bad person to read stories with shitty circumstances. Understand your feelings about it, empathize, move on.
