We would have all done the same in the ex place He didn't know where was the uke and what he was doing. He could have a new life there or he could have died. He tried to find him but couldn't. After 5 years of waiting for hope, he finally moves on but then the uke reappear. Its so sad for the ex. Now, he doesn't want to break the heart of his new lover who was there to support him.
For how long should he wait? How would he know uke was going to turn up after five years. Did you not read the part where it were it clearly showed how depressed he was after ukes disappearance. If he continues any longer he would've took his own life. This was all clearly stated in the novel. It wasn't as if his feelings for uke disappeared as soon as he found out uke disappeared and there is no hope for his return. At that time, the only person there for his is his current bf and he helped him overcome this. The Ex bf clearly knew that the he had feelings for him but he ignored it because of our uke. After, his disappearance, he knew he can't continue living the same life because one way or another his life will end with the absence of the uke so he had to take matters into his own hands and be together with his current bf. You can't blame him for his decision at all. It wasn't as if he had a choice.it was a life or death situation for him. Why would you even ask someone to be so selfless? To me, that's pretty cruel. What you should be angry about is how ex rejected uke after uke came back. This is were he had the choice to go back to dating uke or continue his relationship with his current bf.
yup, i totally agree with that and i guess wanting to beat him up is such a strong word, im sorry but maybe i just want to whine a little, but it is selfish to make him wait for 5 years of no certainty, waiting for the unknown. All i know that they are both hurting and suffering and it's all pain.
agreed, they're just all suffering it's crazy. I apologize for the harsh wanting to beat him up tho, i should've just worded it properly HAHAHAHA he didn't deserve it, he already experienced PAIN so, i just want to whine like "wHYyyYYyy" *ugly sobbing*

i wanna beat up the ex so much like "why couldn't you wait???" i am aware that he was hurt too, not knowing what might have happen during those 5 years but still tho... AAAAAAH it's complicated! HAHAHAHAH but atleast (i hope) the MC is finally getting 'love' despite it being just physical.
and i really wish that the mc isn't the first one to 'realize' and 'confess' his feelings if there are any with his sex friend.
