It's not that he's in love per say, only because he's always been interested in Sangwoo and wanted to be liked by him like everyone else. Then he realised that if he left an extremely bad impression, even though Sangwoo would never ignore him again he would come to hate him forever and he'd never get the positive friendly relationship he wanted from the start .
Wait it’s been a little long so I forgot but has Jaeyoung realized he’s in love or has been changed his tactics to being nice to see Sangwoo without his hat (without feelings of romance)???
