he most likely wants keith to apologies but he would never do so, so he believed hurting him as hard as he can will have the same effect. except he still loves keith, (so he feels even worse) and even if keith is hurt he still won't apologies and no matter how much he changes it won't be true if he is still not capable of accepting how badly he treated him while expecting his every thing in return
