Yeah, totally true, tho this is one of the main reasons I like it hehe, this is more... Realistic? Is sorts (obviously the kingdom, magician and that stuff no haha) but yeah, people in real life are not noble, we always got our selfish reasons, even the nicest person you know has probably a reason of their very own to act the way they do... So at the end of the day, who cares why you're doing stuff? just do it and try to help the rest of the people on your way if you can xd
Yes, Pedrel only cares about his wife but no one can say he didn't help the empire; yes, Catiel is a bloodthirsty tyrant but no one can say he didn't do his work as the emperor and yes Ari is hella selfish with her actions but no one can say se didn't help pacify her father and thus prevented so many deaths... Everyone is doing whatever that want but there are a lot of people being benefitted from their selfish actions :3
I know it’s just so FRUSTRATING!! To think he could do that- I thought he loved the princess, you know? Always talked about having a daughter and just bothering the princess. So I don’t understand how he could get the princess almost killed!!!!! arghhhh

Ok. Ok. Let's be honest. Perdel is selfish and a hypocrite. His only goal is to please his wife. It was said that the only one he truely cares about is his wife. His wife wants a peaceful empire, so he want to create one. Not because he cares about the people but to please his wife. He said that Catiel is the perfect emperor, but he does not care about the empire. Catiel would leave the moment his brother dies. So he kept the brother safe and alive to basically chain Catiel to the empire. This is one of the reasons the kidnapping happened. The other reason the kidnapping happened is because Ari wanted to leave the castle and explore. Yall, may not see anything wrong with that, but when your dad has conquered most of the continent, has enemies everywhere, and people know what you look like, it is not the brightest idea. So yeah. Nobody was noble. Everybody was selfish. We can understand where they coming from, but, at the end of the day, the motives were selfish.
