i didn't read the novel so this is just my thought but i'm pretty sure aria told the maid she'll help her escape in order to manipulate her into telling the truth because aria knows that the maid was not the only culprit
All I got to say is our Aria never let anyone to step on her left unscathed. The next chapter is truly satisfying~you can look forward to it (●'◡'●)
