I have this very uncanny feeling that Kamino KNOWS what he's doing. Like he offered a bait, Makino took it—and then bit off a bigger chunk that he can chew. And Kamino just KNEW IT. That look in the last panel when he stares into your soul like "You have no idea." I mean... /I/ don't know what he's planning. Or if he even is. The bait might be a "you have a chance to live with me and spy on me first hand. Meanwhile I'll be irresistible and get you emotionally attached to me so /I/ can turn the tables and make you into a double agent for this company you have. MWHAHAHA." Dark, dark thoughts.
