I really love the novel. In my opinion, the manga kinda portrayed Jinwoo as somewhat of a cold guy but he is not all that in the novel.

that part when Japanese want to give him the best treatment as hero and Jinwoo is not comfortable with it.
In the end he accepted it, cos it's a way for Japanese people to seek assurance that their hero was treated well.
+ that touching scene where all of those people thank him... I hope they put that at least.
