Totally agree! It infuriates me. Like either choose to make them the bad guy or don’t, you can’t just use them at one second and use rape as a plot device and then have them as a normal teenager the next. Not only is it bad writing, it is disgusting and annoying.
I'm sorry but I really hate when author makes a character be all "buddy buddy" with someone that did horrible things to them (in this case it's even a crime!). The guy spiked his drink and tried to rape him for God's sake! I'm just gonna pretend that this story was ended at volume 2 and leave it at that.
