I hope so. First ML seems to have history with people he didn't fully close out so he's likely going to bring that drama to the MC. Their relationship as it stands is based on attraction. They barely know about each other.
Meanwhile, second ML has been with MC for a longer while. Since he was introduced late, we just haven't seen any chemistry on top of the fact that MC has a story with the second ML.
