He's literally the only person in this entire story to admit his own mistakes, admit that he's an asshole and that he's not in the right for the most part and tried to change for the sake of Ingrid. Compare to Ingrid and the King, he's a fucking angel.
let's just be honest, all the characters in this story are trash, but Regan is the only one who admits it and tries to change.
